Starting Tuesday 6th July

Age: 5-8 from 3:30-4:15pm
Age: 9-14 from 4:15-5:15pm

Adult Judo classes continue for RMNU members (subject to your RMNU membership package) from 5:30-7:00pm on a Tuesday. Please book as normal 😁.

Northern Ireland’s 24hr Domestic and Sexual Abus

Northern Ireland’s 24hr Domestic and Sexual Abuse Helpline is a free and confidential service that offers help and support female and male victims and survivors, worried friends and family members and professionals.

The Helpline is staffed 24 hours a day by fully trained operators and volunteers who are available to offer expert support and confidential, non-judgemental information. The team work alongside a range of community partners who provide specialist support services to those who have or are experiencing domestic and sexual abuse.

The Helpline, operated by specialist sexual trauma charity Nexus, is free to call on 0808 802 1414 and is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Support can be accessed by email help@dsahelpline.org or contact can be made through the live webchat function available via the website www.dsahelpline.org

I feel a lot of anxiety when I go to new places or meet new people..if you have anxiety you know what I mean. 🤗❤️ Sometimes it feels like you want to explode. You would rather hide away than anyone know what you really feel. You don't like to use the phone. Answer the door. Loud noises. You never feel safe. It can be the worst feeling in the world. You learn to smile. You learn to hide it. Sometimes I feel like anxiety is my protective bubble and that's ok. Maybe it is protecting me. Maybe it's my gut. I am learning. Anyway my friend @frankfitme talked me in to going to jiu-jitsu...anytime I said I didn't want to call someone I didn't know .. he would say fine then send him a message. And he wouldn't let it go.. he kept on at me and gave me the confidence to send @rmnuireland a message. I am so glad I did. They say people don't remember what you say they remember how you made them feel. Being made to feel at home @rmnuireland has helped me in ways more than anyone will ever know this year. I am thankful for the people, the club and the art. For helping me with my anxiety and helping me to grow in confidence (not just me every member of the club has this experience...that's why we all go) . I really do recommend Jiu-jitsu to anyone. You will learn so much about yourself and others on the matts and learn there is always a way.
